About me
Angela is an accomplished conductor and violinist who has held the position of Head of Strings (K-12) at Meriden School in Sydney since 2015.
In this role she works with students of all ages and has built and refined the program. Angela is able to establish meaningful rapport with those in her ensembles, which along with hard work, has led to its current thriving success. Meriden is now recognised as having one of the top string programs in NSW. Angela continues to perform as a violinist including with Sydney Philharmonia Orchestra, Sydney Scoring Orchestra and is the Principal 2nd violinist with Willoughby Symphony Orchestra. Angela graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Performance (Hons) where she was awarded the Jules Silvester Scholarship. Angela has an interest in the psychology behind successful ensembles and enjoys studying this collaborative artform from the conductor’s podium.
