Jazz is not a four lettered word that should strike fear into the hearts of teachers.  During this session we will talk about ideas and techniques that will help the beginning jazz director to the seasoned teacher.  
Music is not a sport with one winner and everyone else is a loser.  Jazz is a language that assists us to be better humans.   Make mistakes, fall hard, and steal as many ideas as you can.   Life skills are developed through the arts, so let’s dive into some of the ideas I have stolen from the greats.
